There has been alot of speculation and rumors on the ps3 slim recently, as well as leaked photo's. we have been looking around for all the buzz on the new ps3, and here are our findings.
The above photo was leaked on May 14th 2009. this picture of the slim shows the logo 'PS3' rather than reading 'PlayStation 3' like the current console. A gamestop employee has claimed to have talked to a Sony rep about the photo. according to him, the way the representative replied suggests that their is definitely a PS3 slim in the works.
On July 12th a video was posted on YouTube of the PS3 slim, the user who posted the video says he bought the console illegally in the Philippines. whether the video was authentic is questionable.
On the 2nd August 2009, the PS3 slim became available for reservation on Amazon.de. their was no information or pricing, but there was a picture of the console that had been created by a user on the neoGAF forums.
Is there a PS3 slim in the making? we think so. when it will be released and what it will be like is anyone's guess. But I'm sure the next rumor will be coming soon.
