RAGE gameplay revealed!
The highly anticipated shooter from id has been revealed in the form of this new trailer. it is said to be completely different from all the shooters made by id so far, and the game also uses a new engine, called id tech 5. so here is RAGE in all its glory!
Although the game is primarily a First person shooter, it also has alot of racing and RPG elements. there will be drivable vehicles in the game such as dune buggies, ATV's and bikes. weapons will include shotguns, sniper rifles, machine guns... all the stuff you would expect from a shooter. but their will also be some slightly less common weapons, like a crossbow, and the 'wing stick', which kills an enemy silently. gun turrets have been confirmed, and they can be picked up and moved as many times as you want.
For the RPG elements in the game, you can loot items from the game world and use the items to make your own weapons and vehicles. vehicles can also be fitted by firearms. like fallout 3, you need the schematics of something before you can make it, but unlike fallout 3, you don't need a workbench to make your custom weapons.

The things i've mentioned here are only a fraction of what is going to be included in RAGE. id have announced that there will be 2 different area's in the game world, and so far they have only showed one. the second will have a completely different fell to it. RAGE is set to be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, be excited.

Modern Warfare 2 controllers announced!
Infinity ward has partnered with Mad Catz to release a range of Modern Warfare 2 accessories, including a controller specialized for the game. it was found out on Twitter that the controller was in production, and it was officially announced on August 11th 2009. The controller will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, as well as other accessories, which weren't specified.
The CEO of infinity ward, Vince Zampella, has stated that he is happy with the work Mad Catz has done, and can't wait for fans to play the game this November.
So what will the controller's be like? To be honest we haven't a clue, but here are some (fake) pictures of what we could be using to play Modern warfare 2 this November.

Modern warfare 2 multiplayer revealed!
The first multiplayer footage of Modern warfare 2 has been revealed! here is the video that shows multiplayer gameplay and some of the brand new features included in the game.
Customizable killstreaks- you can now choose what rewards you want for your killstreaks, instead of having to stick to the UAV, airstrike and helicopter. there were a total of 15 slots in the killstreaks menu, so expect to have plenty of choice when it comes to what rewards you want.
AC-130 in multiplayer- when you manage to get an 11 kill streak, you can remotely control the weapon on an AC-130 gunship. yes, the one from that mission in COD4.
Sticky grenades- at the end of the trailer it shows the player using a sticky grenade to kill an enemy standing one the other side of a crate. he also gets bonus XP from it!
Buzzkill- the gameplay shows that you get bonus XP if you cut an enemy short of getting a killstreak. so basically when the enemy is one kill short from getting a killstreak reward.
Improved HUD- the HUD in modern warfare 2 has been given a new style, and it looks alot better than COD4's.
here are some screenshots of Modern warfare 2 multiplayer in action!
